More Than 40 Years of Experience

It all began with the employment of Sylvia Pirnay, née Bourmer, by the City of Cologne at Worringen Hospital. At that time, her father, Prof. Dr Horst Bourmer, was Chief Consultant of the clinic.

In December 2019, Ellyn Pirnay took over both practices, whilst Sylvia Pirnay remained as a therapist. Every patient is unique. That is why we tailor our treatment in consultation with physicians to precisely meet your requirements and needs.

First Practice in Cologne-Worringen - Opening of the first physiotherapy practice in the now-closed hospital.

1995

Second Practice in Cologne-Esch - Opening of the physiotherapy practice in Cologne-Esch. The wheelchair-accessible practice in Cologne-Esch comprises 250 sq m with 9 treatment rooms.

2013

Relocation of the Cologne-Worringen Practice - Move to Hackhauser Weg 61. The practice now comprises 150 sq m with 7 treatment rooms.

2019

Generational Change - In December 2019, daughter Ellyn Pirnay takes over both practices. Sylvia Pirnay remains as a therapist.

2025

Third Practice in Düsseldorf - Opening of the physiotherapy practice in Düsseldorf. The wheelchair-accessible practice in Düsseldorf comprises 289 sq m with 8 treatment rooms.

The wheelchair-accessible practice for physiotherapy and occupational therapy in Cologne-Esch comprises 250 sq m, whilst the practice in Cologne-Worringen for physiotherapy and occupational therapy offers approximately 130 sq m, in which intensive physiotherapeutic and occupational therapeutic work is carried out.
