Physiotherapy That Comes to You
After surgery or a stroke, or when mobility is limited, getting to the practice is often not possible – yet this is exactly when regular physiotherapy is especially important. That is why we also treat patients at home: in their own home, in assisted living or in a nursing home.
Treatment in familiar surroundings has a great advantage: we practice exactly where everyday life takes place – getting up from your own bed, climbing the stairs in your hallway, walking safely through your home. It also allows us to directly involve and guide family members.
When Are You Entitled to a Home Visit?
Home visits are covered by statutory and private health insurances. The requirement is that your doctor notes the home visit on the prescription – this is the case if you are unable to visit the practice for medical reasons.
Limited Mobility
After surgery (e.g. hip or knee replacement), or in cases of walking impairment, dizziness or risk of falling
Neurological Conditions
After a stroke, or with Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis or other conditions that make leaving home difficult
Advanced Age & Need for Care
For seniors at home, in assisted living or in a nursing home
Serious Illnesses
For oncological conditions, after a long hospital stay or in palliative care

Prescription from Your Doctor
Your general practitioner or specialist issues a prescription and ticks the "home visit" box. If you have questions about the prescription, we are happy to advise you or your family members by phone.

Treatment at Your Home
Our therapists come to you with all the necessary equipment and treat you in your familiar surroundings – reliably and with a consistent therapist you can trust.
Billing Directly with Your Insurance
We bill your health insurance directly. Statutorily insured patients only pay the usual co-payment, unless they are exempt.
Are You a Care Facility?
We treat residents of nursing homes and senior care facilities directly on site – with fixed treatment days, prescription management and direct billing with the health insurances.

What needs to be stated on the prescription?
Your doctor must tick the "home visit" box on the prescription. The prescribed treatment (e.g. physiotherapy, KG-ZNS or manual lymphatic drainage) remains the same as for treatment at the practice.
How much does a home visit cost?
With a doctor's prescription, your health insurance covers the costs including the home visit fee. Statutorily insured patients only pay the statutory co-payment, unless they are exempt. Private patients receive an invoice according to the official fee schedule.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We can usually begin treatment within a few days. Just give us a call – we briefly discuss your diagnosis, address and preferred times and schedule you firmly into our regular rounds.
Will I always see the same therapists?
Yes, we place great importance on consistent therapists. Especially for older and neurological patients, a familiar, trusted therapist is important for the success of the therapy.
Do you also treat patients in nursing homes or assisted living?
Yes, we treat residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities directly on site. For facilities, we offer fixed partnerships with regular treatment days.
Can family members organize the appointment?
Of course. Family members, care services or facilities can handle the appointment booking entirely. We discuss everything else directly with the person you trust.
