Electrotherapy & Ultrasound
Modern treatment with electrical impulses and sound waves – effective for pain, muscle weakness and healing disorders
What is Electrotherapy and Ultrasound?
Electrotherapy and ultrasound treatment are among the proven physical therapy methods in modern physiotherapy. Both methods use physical energy – electrical current or high-frequency sound waves – to specifically achieve therapeutic effects in the body. The treatment is painless, has few side effects and can be excellently combined with other forms of therapy.
How Electrotherapy Works
- Pain-relieving: Blocking pain transmission through electrical stimulation
- Muscle-stimulating: Activation and strengthening of weakened muscles
- Circulation-promoting: Improved blood circulation through vasodilation
- Metabolism-stimulating: Promotion of healing processes in the tissue
