Hot Air & Fango Therapy
Beneficial heat treatment for pain relief, relaxation and promotion of blood circulation – natural and effective
What is Fango and Hot Air Therapy?
Heat therapy is one of the oldest and most proven treatment methods in physiotherapy. With us you have the choice between two effective applications: Fango, a healing mineral mud of volcanic origin from Italy, or hot air treatment with modern infrared lamps. Both methods use the therapeutic power of heat for pain relief and healing promotion.
How Heat Therapy Works
- Pain-relieving: Deep heat relaxes muscles and sustainably reduces pain
- Circulation-promoting: Improved blood circulation for optimal nutrient supply
- Relaxing: Release of muscle tension and promotion of regeneration
- Immune-strengthening: Activation of the immune system through heat impulses
- Metabolism-stimulating: Acceleration of healing processes in the tissue

How long does a heat treatment take?
A heat application usually lasts 20 minutes. It is often combined with a subsequent massage (20-30 minutes), so that the total treatment is about 40-50 minutes.
Does health insurance cover the costs?
Yes, with a medical prescription, the costs for heat therapy (as a supplement to other treatments) are covered by statutory and private health insurance.
Are there contraindications?
Heat therapy should not be used for acute inflammation, fever, thrombosis, severe cardiovascular diseases or skin diseases in the treatment area. Please inform us about existing conditions.
